PRLog -- Centric RF has announced a new series of 2.4mm to 2.92mm adapters, featuring a low VSWR of 1.15 Maximum through 40 ghz. These precision Microwave / RF Coaxial adapters will find use in test labs, lightwave systems, and millimeter wave systems. These 2.4mm to 2.92mm adapters feature stainless steel bodies, air dielectric, BeCu contacts, and dielectric beads. These new precision adapters lower the VSWR achievable using Centric RF products. These 2.92mm to 2.4mm precision coaxial adapters complement the 40ghz 2.92mm terminations and 2.92mm cable assemblies also available from Centric RF, as well as allowing an interconnection to higher frequency 2.4mm systems, which can operate to 50 ghz. For a greater value, Centric RF still offers a lineup of 2.4-2.92mm adapters with a VSWR of 1.25, in the same adapter bodies.
