Sacred Heart School names Donna Nolan as Music Instructor

KINGSTON, Mass. - Oct. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, today announced that Donna Nolan of Plymouth, Massachusetts has joined the faculty as a Music instructor.

As such, Nolan will teach 7th and 8th grade Chorus and Honors High School Chorus.  She is also facilitating a new instrumental program for 7th and 8th graders.

Prior to joining Sacred Heart, Nolan was a music teacher at Peebles Elementary School in Bourne; previously she served in that capacity at Carver Middle School, Wrentham Elementary School and in the Brockton and Hanover public school systems.

A graduate of Plymouth State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, Nolan is certified to teach students in grade K – 12 and is a member of the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association.

Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Nolan lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts.  She is Chairperson of the Dorine Merritt Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization that awards scholarships and grants to support the youth of Carver.  She is also the Race Director of the Edaville Rail Run, an annual road race and fundraiser for the Dorine Merritt Memorial Fund and sits on the Board of Directors of the Colonial Road Runners Running Club.

In her spare time, Nolan enjoys gardening, yard work, camping, cooking and music, particularly country.
