Follow on Google News | Six Chances to Catch “Nunsense” at Northeast Alabama Community CollegeBy: DeKalb Tourism With more than 5,000 productions worldwide and translated into 21 languages, Nunsense is an international phenomenon. The musical is directed by Mark Webb and technical director is Brad Archer. The cast includes Allison Dixon, Emilee Harris, Savannah Owens, Kayleigh Smith, and Katie Strickland. The show is best enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, in the school auditorium, which is already set up for the 8th grade production of Grease. Nunsense is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Performances at Northeast Alabama Community College will be November 6-8 and 13-15, 2015. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees will begin at 2 p.m. All seats are reserved and tickets are $5 each.
