Synopsis: Written with London as its place of origin, Isadora’s Plight is the story of a battle of wills, morality, right and wrong, and the fight for love.

Dominic Carlisle, is a tall, commanding, man. His home is the Rue de Lac, a stately manor house. Born into wealth, he inherited the family business built by his grandfather and father.

His love, Isadora had suddenly disappeared from his life three months earlier. She hadn’t been answering her phone, or returning his messages, so Dominic hires Berwin, a private investigator, to try to find out why. After locating and following Isadora, Berwin shows Dominic pictures that he has taken of her. Dominic notes that one of the pictures was taken in the Avalon, where Isadora lives, right under his nose, and possibly there for who knows how long.

Dominic and Berwin set out to look for Isadora at the Avalon and while on their way, Berwin relays an outlandish story of a magical land called Gobidy Goque told to him by one of his colleagues. Dominic thinks the story is nonsense, but soon, it becomes more real than they could ever have imagined.

Isadora prepares for a journey to Gobidy Goque, the magical land filled with many creatures and races, a beautiful flowing waterfall, cascading into a clear, blue river surrounded by lush green foliage with cypress trees, blue daisies, white lilies, and tulips.

When summoned by the Aramitess, Isadora and her friends go to Gamzee, a small town just outside of the Avalon to depart for Gobidy Goque. To arrive in there, they must take a little red instrument—the portal between worlds. Once they arrive—their identities and appearance change, and they become fairies.

Together, they meet with the Aramitess, the governing body for Gobidy Goque, who maintain peace between creatures as well as punish those lawbreakers who disrupt the serenity of Gobidy Goque. At the meeting they receive their assignment; to find out why there have been riots and discord between some of the inhabitants.

There, begins the tale of adventure, danger, love, and a surprising turn of events.
