Follow on Google News | Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc.'s A Night to R.E.M.ember deemed a successOn Saturday, Oct. 3, Sweet Dreamzzz™ hosted its 13th annual A Night to R.E.M.ember fundraiser at The Dearborn Inn. The night was grand- the classic elegance of the Dearborn Ballroom with its crystal chandeliers and refined décor was the perfect backdrop for an evening full of kindness, generosity, and support for children in need. Highlights of the event included a large silent auction, a rousing live auction, a humbling call-to-action, a fun game of Heads or Tails, the presentation of the Susan M. Fezzey Award of Excellence to Eagle Scout, Andrew Campbell, a delicious gourmet dinner and a round of dancing to cap off the night, hosted by DJ Elrico Shelton. Sweet Dreamzzz would once again like to thank all of the event’s sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor, TriMas Corporation, Arrow Strategies, Bosco’s Pizza Company, Design Systems Inc., ARC, BDO USA LLP, Drew Besonson, Ernst & Young LLP, Hirotec America Inc., Huntington Bank, McCarthy & Smith, Inc., The Mulberry Silk Company, Tier One Marketing, Deloitte, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, Rehman Robson and Watch Me Grow Pediatrics. Supporters of the organization helped raise over $70,000 for Sweet Dreamzzz sleep education programs. Sweet Dreamzzz will be hosting their next R.E.M. (Rest. Educate. Motivate.) Sleep Education Program at WHRC Elementary School in Pontiac on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015.This program will serve 650 at-risk students, grades K-6. Founded in 1998, Sweet Dreamzzz™, Inc., is a nonprofit organization committed to improving children’s health, well-being and academic performance by providing sleep education and bedtime essentials to economically disadvantaged students and their families. Based in Farmington Hills, Mich., Sweet Dreamzzz educates children and families about the benefits of healthy sleep habits and establishing a healthy bedtime routine using its Early Childhood Sleep Education Program™, the Parent Sleep Education Workshop™ and the R.E.M. (Rest. Educate. Motivate.) Sleep Program. Since its founding, Sweet Dreamzzz has served more than 45,000 children and families.
