Clary Sage College Student Awarded Nail Technology Education Scholarship from OPI Products Inc

TULSA, Okla. - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Once a month OPI Products Inc., awards selected Nail Technology and Cosmetology students with a $500.00 Education Scholarship toward tuition at an OPI Preferred School.

In September, Nicole Ogden from Tulsa, OK was the recipient of an OPI Scholarship award to attend Clary Sage College, helping to pay tuition for the 600 hour course. Upon completion, Nicole will be qualified to take the Oklahoma state board examination and perform manicuring services in a salon.

To date, OPI has awarded over 100 scholarships to applicants in the U.S., aimed at fostering continued growth of the Professional Beauty Industry and increasing the number of qualified salon workers.

To be eligible for an OPI School Scholarship, applicants must reside in the United States, and be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a Nail Technology or Cosmetology program for state licensure at an OPI Preferred Nail Technology School.  Along with an application, candidates must also submit a 1-2 page essay explaining why they want to become a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist, what their goals are after obtaining a license, and what sets them apart from other candidates for the scholarship.  Additionally, applicants must provide one recommendation from a licensed Cosmetologist, Nail Technician, or OPI Preferred School Instructor.
