Toby Hayes Named VP of Marketing at Houston's First Service Credit Union

HOUSTON - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Toby Hayes has been named vice president of marketing at First Service Credit Union (www.fscu.com/about-us/) charged with leading the credit union's three-year drive to achieve an aggressive growth objective.

Hayes comes to First Service Credit Union from Cabrillo Credit Union in San Diego, where he was vice president and chief marketing officer. He successfully increased membership and accounts there and built the organization's loan volume and credit card portfolio.

Now Hayes will focus on helping First Service Credit Union meet its growth goal of $800 million in assets by 2018, an increase of more than 45 percent in three years, said FSCU President David Bleazard. Improved marketing outreach, new branches in strategic locations, and more feature-rich accounts are key elements of the three-year growth plan, Bleazard said.

Hayes said that First Service Credit Union will accomplish that by continuing to upgrade its technology and its products, and adding branches in convenient locations for members.

Hayes started his career as a newspaper reporter and editor in Utah, and then became a corporate communications specialist with SkyWest Airlines before launching his credit union career in 2007. He has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a degree in journalism from Utah State University.
