CEO & Gospel Recording Artist 'J.L.A.' speaks of profound inspiration & www.JesusJunkie.net  

ATLANTA - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Music Ministry and 'Jesus Junkie' Clothing are badges of Justin LaBron Anderson's ambition.

"I have a degree in Music Management and am too Owner and President of my own Company. We specialize in new acquisitions for Direct TV; Gospel Hiphop music, however, is my biggest passion.

I began singing at the age of 5, writing songs by 7, and rapping at 11. I really came from nothing, so Hiphop music was imperative for me, at the time. It brought me what I now have, and gave me the avenue best fit to express myself. I have to say that I first developed my musical talent by listening attentively to R. Kelly and Micheal Jackson, especially their powerful love songs of passion, true respect, and love for women; later, at 18 years old, JayZ, DMX, Eminem, and Lil Wayne took over. Each exceptional artists spoke of things everyone liked and wanted, they made me believe that I could too be as good as them, one day. As artists, they were so generous in giving us their very best at every chance. JayZ, for example, indirectly taught me to write good songs; he was one whom I carefully followed, listened to, and do respect very much to this day. I wanted to be creative like him, the way he puts together a punchline like a metaphor, instead of just a simile is brilliant and still highly effective. He intrigued me very much so that even when I was just 14 years old I understood what he was telling of his business savvy; he made things look tangible, true, and real to me, he did rap things into existence.

Hiphop gave me solid knowledge and has brought me to understand life and how best to express myself. I know that the Lord developed me further, in ways that I never thought possible. By 22, I met Alaina and fell in love; she was just 19 at the time, but inspired me to develop my music, and instilled a very mature level or responsibility and raised an even higher standard of moral values. At 26, I changed genres of music and converted to Gospel rap; it took me 3 years to develop her inspirational idea and put it into action (it is thanks to her guidance). Surely our friendship and faith brought us together and made this happen. She always advised me to not curse so much in music (as I used to do so, a lot) and I started so growing in my spirituality. I now perform only Gospel rap, it's a gift and blessing of which I am very grateful.

Many thought I was 'crazy' to leave HipHop, but I never actually left it, I evolved it, changed it to Gospel Hiphop, and incorporated that very change to my own life. Alaina and I make a very strong team, she advises me and tells me what's right, she guards me from making mistakes, and carefully corrects me with the support, and no-stress approach; it's what works best for me, I am so proud and grateful of her. We started the clothing line 'Jesus Junkie' - our high quality brand of very durable and stylish 'wearable Ministry'. I think of it as a way to honor the Lord, all day long, by ministering His Word without even speaking. We are taking pre-orders for 7 different designs, so far. I am also very excited to be going back in the Studio to record my first official freshman album. I have many written songs and have developed my technique recording several singles and mix tapes, I do know God will lead me to it, influence it fully, and bring this project to completion. Creating great music that honors God, is the essence of what brings me most joy. I am also very comforted by having my most important friends and family around and knowing they are happy, safe, and always moving with purpose. Rendering honor to God and allowing Him to work for/through me makes me able to look at any 'hater' or 'naysayer' and genuinely pray for them. I advise all to pray for their joy, right direction, and may happiness overwhelm; after all, all they really want is to be understood, loved, acknowledged, and respected. They deserve it, but don't believe they do. We all want to be heard, and we should all have that chance. All it really takes is faith and action, for prayer can push anything into reality. Pray for it, believe it, and plan to see it into existence.
