Do you know how thermowell to be made and inspected before it comes to you?

ALTADENA, Calif. - Oct. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- First: For stainless steel thermowell (http://www.better-fitting.com/portfolio_category/thermowell/) ,(one piece type, no welded on the body)

If the quanity is big enough(maybe 5000PCS more, it is up to the size and quantity, for saving cost purpose),then:

• Buy stainless steel bar stock from steel factory

(we need do material test and dimension test before the bar stock are accepted to my warehouse)

• Cutting the bar stock to be short pieces.
• Die-casting the short pieces into right shape
• Machining them on CNC machine

(During machining, goods will be checked by QC every 20 minutes)

• Clear the thermowells (http://www.better-fitting.com/portfolio_category/thermowell/).
• Do final test which include:

• Dimension test which including thread(by go&no go gauge)
• Leak test: we will inject 10 bar of high pressure air in to the thermowell, then put

         It under hot water for 1 minute to see if there is any air bubble leak out.

    3. Surface test by eye, to make sure clear ,smooth and no burrs

   4. Above test will be done 100% (Piece by piece)

• Packing them ready for ship

If the quantity is small, then remove step #3, others keep unchanged.
