Savannah Chatham Food Policy Council Sponsors Meet the Mayoral Candidates at Food Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Oct. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- (SAVANNAH, GA) Savannah/Chatham Food Policy Council (SCFPC) will be hosting a meet and greet with the Savannah Mayoral Candidates at this year’s Food Day, taking place October 24th 2015 at Daffin Park. Candidates will be located at the SCFPC Tent, starting at noon. Each of the four candidates will be given 30 minutes to meet the voters and field questions about issues for the upcoming election.

Candidates are scheduled to appear in the following order: 

Mayor Edna Jackson: 1 pm
Murray Silver: 2 pm
Eddie Deloach: 3 pm
Louis Wilson (unconfirmed)

About Food Day 2015:
Each fall, Savannah is treated to a large outdoor festival that is free and open to the public. Attendees enjoy a live concert, featuring many of Savannah’s top musicians.  The public is encouraged to bring their friends and family, to spend the day taking in the music, browsing over 100 exhibitors and vendors. Attendees are also sure to find interest among the dozens of unique and completely free workshops, cooking classes, and other activities that are suitable for everyone, including the kids!
