Dr. Manbir Takhar of Medical Access and GPCA Recognized As Top Doctor throughout Montgomery County

GERMANTOWN, Md. - Oct. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Earlier this year, Washingtonian.com invited 12,000 physicians to DC, Maryland to nominate colleagues in each of the 40 specialties who they believe provide the best care.

For the first time in the 36 years of Top Doctors, voting was conducted online. This new method of collecting votes made it possible for more physicians to particpate, allowing Top Doctors to list more doctors in fast-developing areas. For an electronic ballot to be considered valid, it must come with a current, local medical license number.

This year, Dr. Manbir Takhar, Medical Director and physician at Medical Access Urgent Care and Germantown Primary Care Associates in Germantown, Maryland, made it to the list and was recognized as a Top Doctor throughout the Montgomery County in the Maryland Region.

This is a very prestigious award because, as previously explained, doctors who make it to the list are nominated and voted by their fellow physicians.
