Pearson and Goronkin will lead attendees through how to effectively promote audience engagement in community campaigns. They will offer a compelling case-study, as well as tips on how to apply what they learned. Attendees will learn how to identify the goals of a community engagement campaign, utilize important network contacts, find out what it takes to motivate and inspire an audience, and leverage creative ideas that will allow them to think big about community engagement. Jeffrey Goronkin is co-founder and chief strategy officer for Buzz Media Solutions. Goronkin has over 20 years of experience in areas of business including sales, marketing, research and development and commercialization of technical and non-technical products in a variety of industries. Marguerite Pearson brings 15 years of experience as director of communications for the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, responsible for communications, fundraising and outreach functions, including media relations, website and social media management, fundraising appeals and special events. “When executed well, community campaigns can be transformational.
