Follow on Google News | Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance Congratulates Board Certified PhysiciansBy: Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance Physicians can become board eligible after four years of medical school, five years of residency, and two years of clinical experience. Then they must pass both written and oral orthopaedic board examinations. Once all requirements are successfully met, the doctor becomes board certified. Christian Anderson, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder, sports medicine and hip arthroscopy. Dr. Anderson completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at Stanford Sports Medicine Center, where he served as team doctor for the San Francisco 49ers. Dr. Anderson is based at TOA’s St. Thomas West Care Center. Alison Cabrera, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder reconstruction and sports medicine. Dr. Cabrera completed her Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and served as team physician for the Vanderbilt Commodores and Nashville Sounds. Dr. Cabrera is based at TOA’s Clarksville Care Center. Chase Corn, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Corn completed his fellowship work at OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Corn is based at TOA’s St. Thomas West Care Center.
