Follow on Google News | GET YOUR GROVE ON Next Week in Delray BeachBy: PR-BS, Inc (Delray Beach, FL – October 8, 2015) The Delray Beach Marketing Cooperative invites all residents and visitors to GET YOUR GROVE ON during next week’s five-day celebration of the arts in the city’s popular Pineapple Grove Arts District and Artists Alley (October 13-17). “The purpose of Grove Week is to raise awareness of all the artistic disciplines that are ongoing in Pineapple Grove through a serious of fun events and activities,” “The Grove will be decked out in its new look for the event. People should be sure to check out the new banners featuring Grove locals, and head over to the new North Entrance art feature that will be beautifully lit up in the evenings. It’s a gorgeous time of year to stroll the palm tree lined streets and take part in the arts,” he adds. Following are a few of the fun activities scheduled for Grove Week: Tuesday, October 13 / 5:15 pm to 7 pm + Chamber Contacts & Cocktails at the Hyatt Place, with live music and specials until 10 pm. Wednesday, October 14 + Drum Circle at Old School Square Park, 6 pm to 9 pm. + Ribbon Cutting for Pineapple Grove North Entrance art feature at 6 pm. Thursday, October 15 / 6 pm to 9 pm + Artists Alley Open Studios, with two stages, band and food by 3rd and 3rd. + Featuring The Heavy Pets and Girlfriend Material. Friday, October 16 / 7:30 pm to 10 pm + Free Friday Concert at the Pavilion with the Jay Blue Band. Saturday, October 17 / 10:30 am + Art Walk starting at Old School Square Park, focused on art and the history of the Grove, while pointing out murals, sculptures and Pineapple Grove art galleries.
