Rcom, Jasper to Scale up Internet of Things in India

DELHI, India - Oct. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Partnering global Internet of Things leader, Jasper, the telecom arm of the Reliance Group, RCom has entered an industry alliance that will position Indian enterprises to launch, manage and monetise next-generation IoT opportunities.

The partnership marks RCom as Jasper’s exclusive Indian partner and positions it to utilise the capabilities of its own 11 high speed data centres and the Global Cloud Exchange platform with Jasper’s global IoT services platform.

The partnership will be a boost for the IoT sector as it will help in scaling up the existing infrastructure and creating new areas of opportunity. It will also equip RCom with access to Jasper Control Centre Platform and position it to discover new business avenues and models.

As India gears up for a major IoT disruption, RCom has become an early starter for enhanced Cloud Computing and IoT services and associated infrastructure in partnership with Jasper. The partnership will also scale up commissioning of advanced IoT infrastructure  in the country.
