Data Breaches Concern Financial Planners

FPA New Jersey Fall Conference will include a look at data breaches; retail is only part of the the Worry on Cybersecurity - are financial firms safe?

Oct. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ (October 2015)- The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey's (FPANJ) Fall Conference will be held on Thursday, October 29 at the Renaissance Hilton Woodbridge in Iselin, NJ, and while the keynote speakers are top notch, breakout sessions will provide equally compelling topics.

Mark your schedule for the presentation on Cybersecurity, offered in the afternoon session (see below). As news of data breaches at retailers grab the headlines and cause consumers to rethink how they use their credit cards, Financial Planners are even more concerned about their client's portfolios falling prey to the same fate. This session will review the SEC's Cybersecurity Sweep findings, and will discuss the protective measures firms should be taking now to prevent or minimize the next data breach. Request your media credential by Friday October 23 to attend, and to meet with any of our guest speakers.
