Vistage Chair Amy Brodsky Launches New Private Advisory Board for Chief Executives in Boston

BOSTON - Oct. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Vistage Chair Amy Brodsky of Boston, MA has launched a new chief executive group in the Boston market.

Brodsky will lead the new group, which brings CEOs and business owners together, monthly, to process pressing business issues, share expertise and push the limits of peer education to achieve optimal professional and personal goals. She joins a Vistage community of more than 300 members locally and 800 Chairs globally who lead local area groups; these groups total over 20,000 members in 16 countries.

Brodsky’s group has attracted exceptional CEO’s and Founders including: an MD - biotechnology entrepreneur, the leader of a large staffing firm, a Founder of a large real estate firm, the CEO of a brand consultancy company, and a leading mergers & acquisition executive who is partnering with MGH and Harvard Medical School to launch a bio-tech fund, among others.

About Amy Brodsky

Amy Brodsky spent twenty years of her career in financial services on Wall Street. She says that the lesson she learned from an early age is that “asking the right questions gets you a lot further than telling someone what to do.” In the financial world, she worked at Union Bank of Switzerland during the day and attended New York Law School at night, at a time when her “day job” required her to travel extensively. Her financial services experience includes senior executive posts at JP Morgan, US Trust; Union bank of Switzerland and PIMCO/Oppenheimer Capital.

In addition to being a Vistage Chair, she is the owner and CEO of Sky Partners, a company through which she coaches and consults to C-suite executives. She attributes her work in the financial industry to what led her to seek a new direction as a Chair and a coach. “We all need to have courage to follow passion and dreams.”

She is an avid adventurer. She has hiked all over the world including Mt. Kilimanjaro and Patagonia. She is also a former participant on the TV show “America’s Toughest Jobs,” a story about normal people doing the most deadly jobs in the world. She, in fact, drove an 18 wheeler on the deadliest roads in Alaska and was a crab fisherman in the Bering Sea.
