“We hope to be able to talk to individuals about 2016 plan options and rates prior to the official start of Open Enrollment; though at this time I can’t say for certain if specific plan information will be available,” said Williams. “At a bare minimum, we can help people estimate what their 2016 subsidy will be and assist new enrollees in creating an account at healthcare.gov prior to the big rush on November first. If there are any glitches, or the system gets overwhelmed, it will be advantageous to have created an account early – even if you can’t select a plan yet.”
