By: BIBO AWARDS FOLLOWING BIBO AWARDS TRI-CITY SHOW TOUR 2015... WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER: Traci S. Campbell "The positive effect and warm embracement of the BIBO Awards, as we concluded our third year in Chicago this month, was very apparent. I strongly feel that the reason is the fact that we are in times saturated with violence, selfishness, and lack of mental and emotional support in our communities. Women, especially, are hit hard by these conditions as more and more single parent households, oftentimes lead by a woman, are on the rise. For our next generation of women, the job market is challenging and the pressure to be thin enough or pretty enough or relevant enough is overwhelming." As the BIBO Awards made its debut in Los Angeles this year and returned to Las Vegas for a second year, the opportunity for those who are also passionate about promoting and celebrating real female role models and female leaders in communities throughout the US is there to seize. In 2016, BIBO will be expanding its mission to include programs geared towards helping women who are in need of help to reacclimate into their local communities as well as celebrating the beauty of women who have overcome challenging and often horrific experiences. We will also provide a more fertile "training ground" for young women so we can plant the needed seeds for our future mothers, businesswomen, and community leaders. ~ Traci S.
