Award-Winning Actress Yvette Freeman of “Orange is the New Black” to teach at 3-2-1- Acting

Actress joins staff as a master acting teacher. She has also appeared in countless other TV shows, including: The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI, Pretty Little Liars, Days of Our Lives, Saving Grace, Boston Public, Judging Amy and NYPD Blue.
 
LOS ANGELES - Oct. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Actress Yvette Freeman, of NBC’s ER and Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, is joining the teaching staff at 3-2-1- Acting School in Los Angeles.  She will be leading acting classes for children, teens and young adults at the 5 star award-winning acting studio.

Freeman is a lifelong screen and stage actress, best known for her role as Nurse Haleh Adams on all 15 seasons of ER. She more recently landed a recurring role on Orange is the New Black, for which she garnered a Screen Actors Ensemble Award.  She also received two NAACP award nominations for her recurring role on The Bold and the Beautiful. She has appeared in countless other TV shows, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Pretty Little Liars, Days of Our Lives, Saving Grace, Boston Public, Judging Amy and NYPD Blue.

Freeman’s Broadway, New York, Regional and National Tour stage credits include starring roles in Ain’t Misbehavin’, Showboat, and Best Little Whorehouse.  She won an Obie award for her Off-Broadway leading performance in the play Dinah Was.

Alongside her busy professional acting career, Freeman is thrilled to have an opportunity to share her years of experience and knowledge with young actors. She says: “Teaching is a gift. To open young minds to the workings of the world is a wonderful responsibility… As a teacher, I feel that it is my duty and my pleasure to encourage and inspire my young students to learn…I look forward to guiding them through the myriad of pathways to new discoveries and higher goals that lead to greater accomplishments.”

Artistic Director and Owner of 3-2-1 Acting Studios Mae Ross is excited to have Freeman on board as a master scene study instructor: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Yvette on board. Freeman will commence teaching at 3-2-1- Acting School in October of 2015.

3-2-1- Acting Studios in Los Angeles was founded in 2007 by actress, dancer, model and showcase producer Mae Ross. At 3-2-1-, students learn valuable skills to face the challenges of the entertainment industry, including on-camera techniques, audition techniques, TV commercial and hosting skills, scene study techniques and confidence-building skills.  The school hosts a quarterly Talent Showcase attended and revered by top Hollywood talent agents.  3-2-1- also offers a free introductory class to kids aged 4 to 27 who wish to gain a hobby or career in showbiz.
