Precise SIGINT Now Field Ready for L-3 Manpack Unit

DENVER - Oct. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting announced that Krypto500 is now entirely compatible with the L-3 Linkabit PRD-13(V)3 manpack SIGINT system (http://www2.l-3com.com/linkabit/). This processor now has collection, decoding, analysis, classification and radio fingerprint capabilities with the addition of the Krypto500 software suite.

The low-SWaP design of Krypto500 will allow the L-3 Linkabit PRD-13(V)3 unit to collect and precisely analyze signals, even detecting the exact equipment used for transmission. Krypto500 is made to analyze narrowband ELF-SHF signals less than 48 kHz.

The software architecture of Krypto500 has a server-based approach with built-in intelligent routines to adjust performance for optimal power usage. Even in ultra-SWaP hardware, hundreds of decoders and thousands of classifications will be available to operators, giving them immediate, specific SIGINT, even in remote or hostile locations.

The PRD-13(V)3 system features a handheld Android-based controller with a tethered or wireless connection to the processor. This On-The-March system is fitted on a lightweight frame that supports the radio and antenna but stows into a customized backpack.

Other PRD-13(V)3 features:

-       Three channels allow the PRD-13(V)3 to collect, scan and DF simultaneously.

-       The IP-based system allows networking of multiple units, including remote control and wireless equipment.

-       The low-SWaP design operates for 9 hours on one military battery.
