CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Oct. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- This poetry was written at two different times in the author’s life. While recuperating from two major surgeries, Kay Hinson had the opportunity to meditate on God’s Word and write down her thoughts as she was healing. The front cover and illustrations in this book are photos of some of her original visionary artwork.

She hopes these passages of Scripture will also provide healing for others, as they learn the necessary instructions on daily living that will enable them to be more pleasing to God.

Poetic Scriptures: The Gospel of John and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount is a paraphrase of the Gospel of John, and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount as recorded in Matthew's Gospel, chapters 5-7. It was written in poetry form to provide easy reading that is interesting, easily understood, and can be read in a few hours. Though the book was on hold for several years, it is now time to share these thoughts with others.

About the Author: Kay Hinson grew up in Nashville, and now lives in Crossville, Tennessee. She retired from serving as an activity director in nursing facilities, and now invests her time in writing and painting everyday things she sees in God’s creation.
