Sherman discussed B&D Specialty Concepts, GymValet® and his knowledge of the health and fitness industry. Sherman has worked as an athletics coach, personal trainer, fitness center director and corporate wellness consultant and fitness business owner, accumulating almost 30 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. As the result of inventing and commercializing a fitness industry accessory product, the past 10 years and majority of his professional time have been dedicated to running GymValet®, a convenient holder for fitness equipment sanitizing bottles and towels. Sherman saw the need for convenience while sanitizing fitness equipment before and/or after use for exercisers, driving him to create this unique, patented product. GymValets are now found in over 2,000 fitness facilities across the US, Canada and around the world as a central element in equipment cleaning systems. Bruce Sherman is a Kent State alumnus where he received his Master of Arts degree and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology along with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio.
