Author Finally Brings Marla Evans back into the Spotlight

ATLANTA - Oct. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- It was April 1^st, 2011, Nicholas Maze was preparing to release his debut story. The unique play on relationships, White Collar Woman brought readers into the world of a “different” successful woman. Although most stories provide a general relationship with its ups and downs and twists and turns, White Collar Woman introduced readers to the dominate, yet vulnerable Marla Evans. In White Collar Woman (WCW), we see everything through the eyes of Marla. From her numerous admirers to her own weakness for the workplace stud. And after everything is said done, Marla has a husband and kid at home. And the family means nothing to Marla’s desire to find love. It gets so extreme that we find her stalking men. Many question, “Why not just go home to your husband?” The issue is that her husband has taken the backseat and almost her son as well. Before she knows it, she has built her life around her outside relationships and bringing problems to her married life.

After all of the drama that came along with Marla and the men in her life, everything came to a screeching halt. Nicholas decided to explore other areas of writing, which entered the world of non-fiction. We fast forward to 2015, where Marla makes a guest appearance. This time, it isn’t about the successful woman and the many men seeking to be a part of her life. In some ways, Marla takes the back seat in “A Man’s Appetite”. She definitely is the star of the show, but we no longer see the world just through her eyes. Now, we witness the lives of multiple individuals and relationships. It gets to the point where we almost forget about Marla, because out attention is now on the devilish Angie. Not only is Angie the sneaky one that everyone is cautious about, but she seems to always keep drama as number one on her list. And this is how the rollercoaster begins.

When questioned what made Nicholas bring Marla back to the world of literature, he stated that “Marla still had a lot of experiences that hadn’t been revealed.” And in A Man’s Appetite, we definitely see what he meant. On top of creating a continuation of WCW, Marla has established her own platform. With A Man’s Appetite, there are at least two more volumes in the works to follow the latest story. So whatever you have read, don’t think that it’s over. And from what readers are saying, Marla’s life coming to an end should not happen anytime soon. Their next response is most likely, what will happen next. That is left to be seen in Mrs. Evans’ unique life.
