New upcoming rap artist Potent Dope “PD” From Toronto, Canada

TORONTO - Oct. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Potent Dope “PD” hails from Toronto, Canada. A freshman in his music career, PD began seriously rapping 4 years ago to find his own sense of musical style. One fateful day in 2011 his brother bought a microphone and they started freestyling for fun. Then fun turned into hours and hours into motivation. Growing up listening to Hip Hop encouraged the love for the culture.

The culture and influences from various genres assisted in PD’s developing sense of creativity and new talent such as fellow Blanoire members keeping him motivated in his pursuit to greatness.PD’s lyrical masterpieces are inspired by life and the knowledge of self-preservation music guarantees artists; a creation that cannot be taken away once produced. A lesson that once learned is learned forever. Potent Dope wants his music to have that effect on his fans as it has had on him all his life. His pitfalls and stumbles in his craft only add to the inspiration to continue making music. His music is a reflection of him, as versatile as any given day. It is his belief that in order to give the people the same experience(s) he received from Hip-Hop culture is only through the exposure and understanding of all that he has been through on his musical journey to success. Although Potent’s career seemed to be picking up speed, going from home recordings to recording in studios throughout Toronto, Potent experienced the tragic loss of a friend that proved to almost end his music career. Not only a friend but also mentor and biggest supporter, losing a member of his group was not an easy task to handle. It was the lesson(s) learned going through and getting through this that pushed him in ways that helped complete his understanding of self and his musical purpose.

Currently, Potent Dope is in the studio working on his first solo project entitled Expect Nothing,Appreciate Everything. Produced by DJ Creecha, his single “Time Will Tell” featuring Kosmo was released early Fall of 2015 with a music video to be released in the near future. It is said that Time tells the best story and Potent is finally at a point in his life where he is ready to let the world experience what he has experienced, real TO style.
