Scottrade Data Breach Class Action Investigation

 
Oct. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Abington Cole + Ellery is currently investigating a confirmed data breach at online trading platform Scottrade. Information compromised in the data breached included contact information for approximately 4.6 million consumers and lasted for a period of several months between late 2013 and early 2014. According to Scottrade, although Social Security numbers, email addresses and other sensitive data were contained in the system accessed, it appears that customer contact information was the focus of the incident.

Breached data includes the following information: names and addresses. According to Scottrade, no payment card or banking information was acquired.
