LEXINGTON, KY October 1, 2015 –John and Kathy Eytchison authors of Elkan: The Adventure of a Lifetime book announced today that they are working with Christians inside Hollywood to develop and produce Elkan the Movie!

It all starts in a dark basement with a clap of thunder, flashes of lightning, a trembling floor, loud footsteps and a mysterious old book on a cluttered shelf that opens the door to a Biblical adventure like no other!  Authors John and Kathy originally wrote Elkan for their two sons Evan and James to get them excited about reading God’s word and to give them a full overview of the Gospel message; why we need a savior and who that savior is.  They are excited to announce that they have joined forces with a team of Hollywood professionals to bring this impacting book to theaters through the development of a movie that glorifies God in a manner and quality deserving of Him!
