Follow on Google News | Local practitioner provides support for “Stoptober” CampaignMany people use hypnotherapy to provide extra help when giving up smoking. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is the UK regulator for complementary therapists that was set up with government funding and support. Jakub Tencl says: “Hypnotherapy is often used to help clients achieve the behavioural change needed to stop smoking but it’s so important the public use someone who knows what they are doing.” “It is possible to achieve successful result from one to 6 sessions during 6 weeks, and that depends on individual case.” Jakub Tencl added that: “Hypnotherapy is one of 15 therapies registered by the CNHC. There are around 5,300 practitioners on the register and members of the public can search the CNHC register to find practitioners in their local area. More than 300,000 searches have been carried out since the register first opened in 2009.” For further information, please contact info@ihypnosis.org.uk or 01273-951-011 Visit the CNHC website for a list of registered practitioners www.cnhc.org.uk.
