ACK Launches Breast Cancer Awareness Month “Pink” Campaign

AUSTIN, Texas - Oct. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Paddlesports and outdoor gear retailer, Austin Canoe and Kayak (ACK), a division of MSP Holdings, LLC, announced the launch of its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month “Pink” campaign supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in an effort to aid in the fight against breast cancer.

For the second year in a row, ACK is pledging to donate 5% of all sales from select outdoor adventure gear both online at ACK.com and all physical retail locations. The products were hand picked based on popularity and color availability of pink ranging from kayaks to coolers and other outdoor adventure gear.

Additionally, this year ACK has partnered up with product vendors Feelfree US, LLC and Johnson Outdoors Inc. (makers of Ocean Kayak, Necky, Old Town kayaks and Extrasport PFDs) who are pledging to match ACK’s 5% donation of total sales for their respective qualifying products.

“Our customer’s enthusiastic participation was overwhelming last year,” said Steve Messana, MSP Holdings, LLC President. “Because of their support, we were able to donate over $1,400 to the Breast Cancer Foundation. This year, with the grateful addition of our vendor partners combined with our customer’s purchases, we hope to generate even better results.”

The donation period will run through October 31st, 2015 in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month. Qualifying products are available at: https://www.austinkayak.com/breastcancerawareness. All colors and sizes of the selected products qualify for the campaign.
