IndiaCollegeSearch rebrands as CollegeSearch; Introduces Study Abroad, Education Loans

GURGAON, India - Oct. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Gurgaon, India - Oct 1, 2015: IndiaCollegeSearch had raised Rs 2 crore from Indian Angel Network in 2013 and the Gurgaon based startup has now rebranded itself to CollegeSearch.in (http://www.CollegeSearch.in)

Anirudh Motwani, Founder & CEO of IndiaCollegeSearch has said “We felt it was important to drop the India tag on two counts - for domestic students who are considering foreign universities and in order to attract an audience outside India in the future. Starting next year, we plan to launch the product in markets such as the UK, Germany, Japan & Hong Kong where students face similar difficulties in college selection.”

The company is also using the opportunity to give its site a design overhaul and shift to a responsive interface along with a new logo. The new website claims to have added features such as Study Abroad (information on exams, countries & universities), Education Loans (eligibility check & rate comparison), Collections, a Preparation Scheduler for MBA aspirants giving multiple exams and College Recommendations.

Launched in 2010, IndiaCollegeSearch currently allows users to access information about 13000+ colleges and universities as well as 300 entrance exams and 2000 alumni reviews. Over 6000 colleges have claimed their profiles on the platform and 1500 college profiles are ‘verified’. In 2014, the company received the Red Herring award for 100 fastest growing companies in Asia and in January it made it to Economic Times’ list of top 15 startups for 2015.
