SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Sept. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- The Friends Circle (http://www.smbgc.org/about/volunteer/the-friends-circle/), a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting and mentoring disadvantaged and at-risk youth, will be hosting a spin event on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. to help support the programs at the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Clubs (http://www.smbgc.org) (SMBGC). The event takes place at Cyclepathic (http://cyclepathicfitness.com/), 720 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica. Participants are asked to make a donation of $15 to SMBGC.

“The Cyclepathic spin event is a way for young professionals interested in supporting our community’s youth at the Club to do so while getting fit and connecting with other like-minded individuals,” said Friends Circle co-founder Julie Heidt, marketing director at California List.

To RSVP for the Cyclepathic Spin event, please visit tinyurl.com/cyclepathicSM. All proceeds directly benefit the youth served at Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. Donations are tax-deductible.

The Friends Circle was launched in 2014 by two young professionals, Ashley Dewji and Julie Heidt, with the goal of inspiring fellow community-minded millennials to join them in supporting and mentoring the some 4,000 members at the Club. Since its inception, the group has grown to 90 members and is seeking more young professionals who are ready to give back to their community by helping local kids achieve their dreams.

The group also invites any young professional interested in supporting their cause to join them Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1-4 p.m., at the Reel Inn, 18661 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu to discuss ways to help support the youth at the Club and develop the group. RSVP at tinyurl.com/fcmeeting10-4.
