The company is ranked #63 on Entrepreneur.com’ Jonathan got the idea for his company when his grandfather, Donald Engelhardt, who was a World War II veteran, passed away from Alzheimer’s in October of 2014. “The long downward struggle my grandfather faced was the driving force behind my family’s path in business,” said Jonathan. After Jonathan graduated in the spring of 2015, he worked full time in the office of Home Instead Senior Care as general manager. “I was very pleased to be able to transfer all the knowledge I gathered from my Entrepreneurship major into the real world of owning a business.” Zamary invited Jonathan back to the College of Business Administration to speak to his Experience Class about the success of Home Instead Senior Care nine months after the company’s launch, and Jonathan already had over 20 employees. “We are extremely proud of Jonathan and the work he has done and continues to do to build his company,” said Zamary. “The students were inspired to hear his story.
