RCom Partners Jasper For Advanced IoT in India

DELHI, India - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Leading global Internet of Things (IoT) provider Jasper has paired up with the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group’s telecom arm, RCom, to leverage Indian enterprises to launch, manage and monetise next-generation IoT opportunities.

Reliance Communications will be Jasper’s exclusive business associate in India and the partnership will position RCom to leverage its own 11 high speed data centres and the Global Cloud Exchange platform with Jasper’s global IoT services platform. “"This also marks yet another step forward in delivering the infrastructure and IoT platform required to facilitate the diverse array of projects under the Indian government's 'Digital India' initiative", the company said in an official release.

The collaboration marks the progress of India towards greater IoT accessibility and positions it to leverage the Jasper Control Centre Platform to create value businesses in the IoT and Cloud Computing domains. It will also position RCom as the leading IoT services enabler in India by helping them unlock new revenue avenues and models.

As per Barney, India is approaching a major IT services and infrastructure transformation and greater accessibility of Cloud Computing and IoT would help in that cause.  As a world leader in the IoT domain, Jasper’s presence in India is seen as a big infrastructural and services boost.
