MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - Sept. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – Help a neighbor in need and receive a day of free amusement park rides.

That’s the theme on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3 and 4, as TD Bank and Quassy Amusement Park team up to assist Connecticut Food Bank.

By bringing two canned food items to Quassy Amusement Park, a guest will receive an all-day ride wristband free of charge.  Multiple guests in one vehicle may receive the free wristband by bringing two canned items per person. Parking is $7 at Quassy, which will operate noon to 6 p.m. for the weekend.  All of the canned items collection will be donated to Connecticut Food Bank. Ride wristbands are $18 each without the food donation.

Quassy Amusement Park features a variety of rides and attractions, including the award-winning “Wooden Warrior” roller coaster and FRANTIC, the new pendulum ride that does 360-flips high above the park.

The park is currently selling 2016 season passes and booking educational fieldtrips, corporate picnics and other group functions. For more information visit www.quassy.com or call 203-758-2913.
