I have been in the entertainment industry for well over 35 years with a history of creating a national group Toby Beau in 1976, signing a first rights of refusal life contract with legendary attorney David A. Braun in 1978, have created my animation characters, artoonz animation ink., of which all stopped when I was incarcerated for one year in a Federal prison in 1996 when I was turned in by my wife and a known producer in LA. From the minute I was arrested in 1985 to today I began writing Backwards On Purpose which is an acronym used by Federal prisoners for Bureau Of Prisons. Being a very optimistic person I began to write my life story in hopes of showing audiences that anyone can make a good thing out of any bad situation. This is a real reality performance from my birth to present day which will give the audience in music, comedy and facts information which I feel will open not only their eyes but their minds. The title alone will bring some who have been incarcerated and will hopefully give them a positive boost in their present lives, will show those who are on the edge of creating a mistake to step back and always find an alternative and for those who have someone incarcerated to tell them stay positive. I have written all music, created most of the graphics and written the play which is different in that I will be brought on stage in Federal dress shackled and handcuffed to a waist band where I will be unlocked and then locked again after the performance.

In the time that I have been in the industry I have made friends who will be assisting me in making this project a success like Film director Sir Rodrigo Rodriguez, Grammy and Academy Awards winning sound engineer Chet Himes, Music Director and famous saxophonist Tomas (The Jazzmanian Devil) Ramirez and music executive from SONY/CBS Larry Cohn who will shoot, edit and package Backwards On Purpose present it to all cable networks like HBO,Showtime, Cinemax, Netfilx and the like. This shock performance I hope will be a positive lesson that you can be a part of and point at the television screen and say "I helped make that happen Backwards On Purpose".
