MAREI Announces October Guest Speakers at the Monthly Meeting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Kansas City— MAREI — Today Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors announced the two guest speakers for the October 13^th monthly meeting.  Real Estate Investors JD Asbell and Debra Felderhoff who will both be sharing tips on how to save money when you renovate houses to flip or to rent.

“We see many of our members who renovate homes, knowing how to do it right the first time is one key to a profitable real estate investing business.,” said Kim Tucker, founder of MAREI.

JD Asbell comes to us from HomeVestors and Crossroads Investment Lending.  He not only renovates his own houses to flip, but his team at Crossroads also fund rehabs for other investors, so he has seen a lot of renovation.  JD explained to us that “when renovating a house, it is important to do it right the first time”  Quite often a home will sell faster and for more money when all the right things have been repaired or replaced.  JD also likes to include some “WOW” factor to entice his buyers.

Debra Felderhoff has been acquiring quite the portfolio of rental investment properties at Superior Rentals.  She will be sharing with us how to get the most for your renovation dollars when you undertake a renovation on a rental property.

The Details
On October 13^th, JD & Debra along with the team from The Home Depot will be joining us to help members learn how to save $1000s on future rehabs.  There will be a special early workshop with The Home Depot at 5:30 followed by Networking with the 130 or so attendees at 6:00.  At 7:00 our speakers will take the stage and share tips and answer a few questions.
