Mears Group Makes a Positive Difference

CLECKHEATON, U.K. - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Mears Group offers its support to Brookhouse Training gas training student, Stephen Rutherford, during a mentoring partnership between the two companies.

Stephen was working with the Mears Group in Gateshead as part of his guaranteed Work Placement, whereby trainee gas engineers complete a 30 day on-site programme to complete a portfolio of evidence - a mandatory requirement to become a qualified Gas Engineer

During his work placement Stephen assisted Mears gas engineer Ben Hunter with the repair, installation, and service of gas boilers across the Group’s Home Repairs and Maintenance for Home Group North East contract.

Ben Hunter, Gas Engineer at Mears says: "Stephen is a very motivated person, his keen interest in the job was clear to see. In just one week he repaired and serviced over 30 gas boilers – that’s a lot of work for one person! His exceptional drive and dedication will serve him well.”
