The Grand Prizes: The first half of the grand prize for the 2015 Challenger Dream Giveaway is the highly publicized 2015 Hellcat X. The 2015 Hellcat X is the only one in the world. This 805 hp muscle car pays homage to the U.S. Navy turbocharged and supercharged prototype X-F6F Hellcat fighter aircraft. The second half of the grand prize is a 1970 Challenger R/T powered by a 440 Magnum big-block V-8. Less than 100 black U-code 440/four-speed Challengers were produced in 1970. The 2015 Mustang Dream Giveaway features both a 1965 Mustang GT K-Code Fastback and a 2015 50th Anniversary Mustang GT. The 1965 Mustang GT K-Code Fastback is equipped with a High-Performance 289ci engine and comes finished in Wimbledon White with a Pony interior. The 2015 50th Anniversary Mustang GT is extremely coveted. With only 1,964 built, this limited-edition Mustang is powered by a 5.0L V-8 rated at 435hp and is finished in Wimbledon White, just like every Mustang sent to Carroll Shelby back in 1965. The first half of the grand prize for the 2015 Corvette Dream Giveaway is a 1967 Corvette Sting Ray 427 coupe finished in Rally Red with a black stinger hood and contrasting black interior. This powertrain combination is considered by many enthusiasts to make this sports car the most coveted Sting Ray of all time. The second half of the grand prize is a 2015 Corvette Z06 coupe, which was upgraded by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering to a mind-blowing 725 hp. With a race-proven bloodline, advanced technologies, and a supercharged fifth-generation small-block, the all-new and highly anticipated 2015 Corvette Z06 coupe is the closet link yet between purpose-built Corvettes designed and engineered for tracks like Le Mans and their production siblings. The 1967 Sting Ray will represent the grand-prize package at the display. The 2015 Bandit Dream Giveaway is a trip back in time to the days of Smokey and the Bandit. The giveaway features a 1979 Pontiac Bandit Trans Am, which has been personalized by Hollywood superstar Burt Reynolds. This Bandit is loaded with nearly every factory option further solidifying this car as a piece of automotive greatness. The features include the black-and-bold Special Edition package, T-tops, the WS6 performance package, power windows, air-conditioning, AM/FM stereo, and ultra-rare cruise control. Low miles and fully restored, it’s one of the most sought after muscle cars in the collector-car market this year. Smokey and the Bandit star Burt Reynolds will be making an appearance at the Fall Autofest on Friday November 13 and Saturday, November 14. Mr. Reynolds will be signing autographs in the Cessna Building adjacent to the Dream Giveaway display.
