MusicWorks to Present Iconic Pianist GEORGE WINSTON at Delray Beach Center for the Arts on Nov. 19

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- MusicWorks to Kick-Off Concert Series of Iconic Musicians with GEORGE WINSTON at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts on Nov. 19

(Delray Beach, FL – September 21, 2015) MusicWorks today announced that it would present the first of four concerts featuring iconic folk musicians on November 19 at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts / Crest Theatre. where the concert promotion company staged successful shows last spring with Livingston Taylor and John Sebastian. The Crest Theatre is located at 51 North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach (one block north of Atlantic Avenue).

Since 1972, folk pianist George Winston has released 13 solo piano albums. Inspired by the seasons and topographies, George Winston’s concerts feature a variety of styles including melodic folk piano, New Orleans R&B piano, and stride piano. He performs songs from his seasonal recordings Autumn, December, Winter Into Spring, and Summer. This concert will feature Winston’s Winter Show, which will include melodic fall and winter songs, some of Vince Guaraldi’s Peanuts pieces, pieces inspired by the New Orleans piano & the stride piano traditions, and songs from his latest album, Spring Carousel.
Tickets: $75 & $53, plus $2 historic renovation fee

The remaining folk artists in the four-concert series will be Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary on January 14, Tom Rush on February 10 and Roger McGuinn of The Byrds on March 11.

Tickets for each of the four concerts are $75 for premium seating (first five rows center orchestra) and $53 for all others, plus a $2 historic renovation fee.
