Waukesha Choral Union to Present "With Friends"

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Waukesha Choral Union will present "With Friends," a concert that includes Mozart's "Missa Brevis" and featuring its 40-member chorus along with the talents of Waukesha Children's Choir and Muskego High School Concert Choir  at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at St. William Parish, 440 N. Moreland Blvd.

    Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for senior over 60, $8 for students and $4 for youth under 12.

   This is the first presentation of Waukesha Choral Union's 2015-16 season. It   celebrates and explores friendship and commuity, the rich texture of Christmas fare, the beuty of Messiah and the multi-cultural aspedt of classics and folk songs. Presentations will include a holiday presentation of "Songs of the Season" at two venues in December, "Messiah" at Carroll University's Shattuck Music Center and "Classics and Folk Songs" at Carroll's Humphrey Chapel.

    Waukesha Choral Union, in its 42nd season, has Southeastern Wisconsin roots dating back 60 years.
