Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- October brings cooler weather, changing leaves, and, best of all, four fun events coming soon to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant (http://www.bavarianinn.com/).

On Friday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m., the Bavarian Inn presents its annual “Fall Harvest Wine Dinner,” featuring a special five-course seasonal menu designed and prepared by the Inn’s own 2012 Silver Plate Award winner, Chef Phil Fahrenbruch. Wine selections from the award-winning Chateau Grand Traverse Winery will be presented during each course, together with commentary from a Chateau Grand Traverse guest speaker.

The menu includes a caprese appetizer of heirloom tomatoes with smoked mozzarella and a balsamic reduction, salmon and grilled shrimp with curry appetizer, roasted cauliflower and Gruyere cheese soup, and porcini-crusted steak with truffled smashed potatoes. For dessert, enjoy a poached Bartlett pear with vanilla sauce and dark chocolate. Cost is $55 per person, and includes meal, wines, tax and gratuity.

On Sunday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m., youngsters of all ages can escape with Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinker Bell for “Lunch in Neverland.” This enchanting experience includes dancing with Tinker Bell, photo opportunities, storytelling time with Wendy, and a special gift for each participant, who will also enjoy a famous Frankenmuth® chicken plate lunch. Cost is $20 per person, and includes meal, all activities, gift, tax and gratuity.

Mark Sunday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m.on your calendar as her cuteness, Hello Kitty, celebrates her 41st birthday at the Bavarian Inn’s “Hello Kitty® Birthday Party.” Kids of all ages will get to meet Hello Kitty, play games, take photos and enjoy a lunch featuring Bavarian Inn pasta salad, Frankenmuth® chicken, mashed potatoes, buttered corn, a special birthday dessert, plus a choice of milk, tea, coffee, or fountain soft drink. Cost is $30 per person and includes meal, activities, a take-home Hello Kitty favor, tax and gratuity

On Friday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m., return to the raucous days of the Old West and help solve a murder as the Bavarian Inn presents “Wanted: Dead or Alive” – a murder mystery dinner show where guests will enjoy a fun and interactive western-themed evening. The menu includes soup du jour and crackers, mixed greens salad, Frankenmuth® chicken, schnitzel, and kasseler rippchen, family-style noodles, vegetable du jour, and a chef’s choice dessert. The $50 per person price includes meal, show, choice of a non-alcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity. A cash bar will be available.
