Chateau Architects and Builders win 2015 MBA Award

CASTLE HILL, Australia - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The Star Casino saw the team at Chateau Architects + Builders prove their merit as Sydney’s leading custom home builders yet again, winning for the second time, the Master Builders Excellence in Housing Award in Design and Construction. This award was presented for our “Collaroy Beach Residence” submission, a home in the $4,000,000 and over category.

The MBA Awards are hosted by Master Builders NSW, an association that now has close to 9,000 members. One of the highest profile events on the building industry calendar, each year sees the submission of a large number of projects for consideration of the award.

Executive Director of Master Builders NSW, Brian Seidler said of our winning submission

“Chateau Architects and Builders made use of new products to give the building durability and low maintenance. The house took Chateau Architects and Builders 16 months to complete due to the time and effort put into many of the design elements which make this house a stand out,” he said.

The originality and ingenuity of the design and build team were also acknowledged with Seidler adding “Chateau Architects and Builders are such creative thinkers, demonstrated through the use of new products such as Danpalon wall panelling, Alucabond eaves sheeting and Zinc roofing.”

“The continued commitment to service, quality and innovation of the company is reflected in the work throughout the Collaroy Beach Residence which has won the 2015 award for Design and Construct House $4 Million and over,” Brian said.

“The finishes are so well done, in particular on the central feature of the house, the European glazed pyrolave bricks in a bright teal which reflect the outside elements of the residence beautifully,” he said.

Company Architect Roderick McDonald was very proud to accept the award on behalf of the team and mentioned that the win meant a great deal to Chateau’s team of architects, designers, cost consultants, builders and everyone else who worked on the project. “For us, results like this really indicate strong collaboration, a fuse between the design and build team and also reflect the vision and style of the client”.

It was a great night featuring a delicious three-course dinner, and world-class entertainment.
