Connecticut Affordable Art Fair Lands in Norwalk this November

NORWALK, Conn. - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The Connecticut Affordable Art Fair, showing for the first time in Fairfield County will present over 75 artists from all over the world in a 10,000 square foot space at The Avenue Gallery in Norwalk, CT from November 19^th to December 10th, 2015.   With the aim of making contemporary art accessible to everyone, The Connecticut Affordable Art Fair will showcase a diverse selection of contemporary artworks with styles on display from abstract to figurative, and mediums including paintings, sculpture, and photography – the fair will have art that will be accessible to all. With all art priced between $100 to $3,000 (and 85% of the pieces priced under $2,000) the fair will offer a plethora of work that will appeal to any budget and taste.

Founded in 2013 by Christopher Wyant, the Connecticut Affordable Art Fair was a concept that originated with a simple concept: Great art that is affordable and real. Discussing the concept with his mother, the late Diana Wyant, the two recognized that it was a great way to introduce new and veteran collectors alike to great new works being produced. When asked why he created the Connecticut Affordable Art Fair, Chris responded:

“Beautiful and decorative pieces that resonate with you do not need to cost an arm and a leg. I wanted to create a friendly platform that allows young and new collectors a friendly environment for them to ask questions. Buying art can be daunting and sometimes you can feel silly asking questions that you might feel are basic knowledge. Part of what the Connecticut Affordable Art Fair is about is educating as well as inspiring.”

With a great variety of artists on show, art and photography lovers, art novices and experienced art collectors will have the opportunity to enjoy a broad array of contemporary artwork amidst an environment that is friendly and fun, while delivering an ease of art buying at The Connecticut Affordable Art Fair 2015.
