The Citadelle Art Foundation presents, "The Art of the Mix: Cars & Cocktails"

AMARILLO, Texas - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- The Citadelle Art Foundation is hosting a unique event in Downtown Amarillo. The Art of the Mix: Cars & Cocktails on Saturday, October 3^rd at 7:00pm, will bring together classic cars, craft cocktails by local bartenders, live music, and great food.

The Art of the Mix will feature ten of Amarillo's hottest bartenders in a contest for best designer cocktail. The Citadelle's Concours d'Elegance will take on a new look with high-end classic cars and a cocktail competition finely mixed with artistic photography, while raising money to further children’s education and expression through art.

The event will be held in the Place I Parking Garage at 801 S. Filmore, overlooking Amarillo's skyline. Classic cars will line the perimeter, each with its personal bartender, mixing and serving their craft cocktail as they compete for Best Cocktail. Live entertainment will be provided by Austin party band, Sounds del Mar and guests will enjoy some of Amarillo’s best food.

Anyone 21 years or older is invited to attend this unique event. Tickets and patron packages are on sale at www.thecitadelle.org/mix. Attire for the event is casual.

The Citadelle Art Foundation is devoted to enhancing the lives of children in the Panhandle through various art forms. Their arts programming highlights many aspects of learning, including creative writing, music studies, history, architecture and design, and arts and culture. The Foundation helps enrich these children’s lives by providing different programs such as transportation to museums, early childhood library Art in Story, gifted and talented outreach, and more. The Mix raises critical funds for The Citadelle's programming and Museum operations.
