Nimrod the 2015 European Bike Week Champion

FAAK AM SEE, Austria - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- During the 18th edition of European Bike Week at lake Faak in Austria the Beast known as Nimrod got two trophy's. On Friday it won 1st place in the Harley custom show. The next day Nimrod with its pneumatic suspension went off the take the podium again, this time in the Custom Chrome event.

Organized by the famed Harley Davidson company, European bike week is Europe's best and biggest motorcycle event where over 100 000 biker fans gather every year. As part of the 5 day biker rally custom built motorcycles are shown off by their proud owners and compete in shows. The most important being "Harley Davidson custom bike show" taking place at Harley village on the third day of EBW. Rigorously judged by Harley officials from the many present Nimrod got 1st place in the water-cooled category. On day four of European Bike Week Custom Chrome experts get to pick the best of the best in their official Custom Chrome's Faaker See Championship. This event takes place at the Arneitz 100 Showmile. Also this time Nimrod took another 1st place trophy but in the Bagger category.

Built by CafeRacer-Manufacture, this beast was inspired by the great artist Hans Rudolf Giger, creator of the Alien from the movie franchise. There are a lot of custom Baggers out there. What makes this one unique? Firstly the saddle bags. Most companies slap together a couple of plastic containers and voila. You have a bagger. Not the Nimrod, bags on the Beast are entirely made of aluminum. As is the whole bodywork. 400 man-hours of hammering and shaping by hand also, polishing, anodizing and some glass blasting. On top of all that they integrated the exhaust system with the bags and added an air suspension system. With the press of a button Nimrod rises or falls to the ground.

The CafeRacer-Manufacture company is based in the city of Szydlowiec in Poland. Their headquarters is a modernized historic 19th century motor car factory building. They have many successes in bike customizing. Their Nimrod won among others I Place in “BEST Vrod-Nrod” class at Bike and Music Weekend in 2015, Geiselwind Germany or I place in Bagger class at Italian Motorcycles Champions in 2015, Lignano Sabbiadoro Italy. Another bike done by the team from Poland took VI-th place at the prestigious AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building in 2013, ESSEN Germany and the III Place by Jury’s decision from all classes present at the Scandinavian Championship of Custom Bike Building in 2015 in the Swedish town of Norrtalje.
