LAMIK Cosmetics Kim Roxie invites the City of Houston to help support first time expectant mothers

HOUSTON - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- HPT Media—Kim Roxie, Creative Director for LAMIK Cosmetics is inviting the City of Houston to come out and fill up the Star of Hope Mission truck with unwrapped diapers and newborn baby items—items found at any Baby’s R Us, Target, or Walmart.  On Sunday, October 11^th 2015 the Star of Hope Mission Truck will be parked in front of the Hope Hall—2019 Crawford, Houston TX. until 4 p.m. The public can come and drop off their donations.

Too many to count, new mothers in the community of Houston often give birth to their babies with no support from friends or family.  Many are in need of basic necessities such as diapers, baby hygiene products, and clothes.  This event is an opportunity for the citizens of Houston to decrease those numbers.  Every baby born deserves to have their needs met by a community of people that is invested in their wellbeing.  Star of Hope Mission has created an initiative to help young new mothers get the healthy start they need to provide the best for their children.

Star of Hope Mission’s New Life for New Mothers program will benefit from Kim Roxie’s efforts.  In response to her own personal experience, Kim Roxie is hosting The Ultimate Baby Shower (by invitation only).  She is bringing together some of Houston’s most prominent citizens to attend this private event to help bring hope and happiness to the new mothers of Star of Hope Mission
