Other features include a loop-recording mode (1080p) that enables continuous recording by overwriting the oldest video on the camera, an inverted mode that enables the camera to be held upside down while recording the video right side up as well as burst photography (3 photo burst, time lapse photography (2sec to 60sec), and continuous lapse.

The user interface is exceptionally easy to use with an intuitive menu layout. With this UI, the user can quickly and easily change camera modes and settings without fumbling around through hard to decipher menu settings. In addition, the user interface is available via the remote control app on the smart phone.

While sport cameras have been used primarily as wearable devices, they can also be used as vehicle DVRs. With the rearview mirror mount included in the SportCam XH9’s 19 accessories and mounts, the camera may be mounted on the rearview mirror of any car and used to record scenery from a variety of angles around the vehicle.
