Axiomtek introduces its newest SoC-based embedded system; the eBOX626-842-FL

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, is proud to announce the eBOX626-842-FL, an energy-efficient fanless embedded box system suited for rugged and extreme applications with its extended temperature and wide range voltage capability.

The extreme compact eBOX626-842-FL utilizes an onboard Intel® Celeron® quad core processor J1900 2.0GHz (codename: Bay Trail-D) for both excellent performance and ultra-low power consumption. The ultra-slim fanless embedded computer supports system memory up to 8 GB with one DDR3L-1066/1333 SO-DIMM socket and offers HDMI and VGA dual display outputs, which provides the system with extensive storage space and excellent display options.

Integrated with a single-chip design, the brand new ruggedized embedded system is lighter and thinner compared to previous eBOX620 products. Other key features include a wide operating temperature range between -20°C to +55°C, 10V - 34V DC wide DC input voltage, with 2 RS-232/422/485, 1 RS-232 and 4 USB 2.0 ports. This versatile and feature-rich fanless embedded PC is excellent for a wide range of industrial applications, i.e., factory automation, wayside surveillance network controller, transportation, kiosks, industrial gateway, medical equipment, and other IoT and M2M.

“The compact-sized eBOX626-842-FL is designed with a rugged IP40-rated aluminum cold-rolled steel enclosure with anti-vibration protection up to 3Grms to protect it from breaking down in harsh environments,” said Vincent Ji, product manager for Axiomtek’s Product and Marketing Division. “To meet the WLAN and WWAN communications, this powerful embedded platform supports dual PCI Express Mini Card slots with USB and PCI Express connections and one SIM slot for high-bandwidth expansions such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi, 3G/LTE, and more.”
