LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Sept. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- CPC of Lincoln County will celebrate 15 years of existence as a resource center this coming January.  For the last 21 months, we have been pursuing the goal of becoming a medical center so that we can offer ultrasound services, free of charge, in addtion to all the other services we already provide.

89.6% of abortion-minded women change their minds when they see their baby on an ultrasound.

Because of the favor of God and the generosity of donors like yourself, we have just purchased, from another center that is downsizing, a two-year old ultrasound machine that is still under service contract and had an original invoice price of $45,450 for only $10,000.

Every child is already wanted.  For every completed adoption, there are 36 more sets of parents waiting for a child to adopt.

We have recently secured a medical director and assistant director.  These doctors are a God-send and will be announced when their paperwork is completed.

We don’t want to see any Lincoln County child on a Planned Parenthood video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjxwVuozMnU), do you?

We have the machine; we have the medical director; now we need the space to be able to house our growing services.  Our current location has been and is graciously being provided by New Vision Ministries (http://newvisionnc.org/).  They are not pushing us out, but our lease expired long ago; we are here by grace.  We need more space for what we currently do, let alone adding services.  Also, we need to be where public transportation is available.  We need a medical facility to provide medical services.  Dr. John Chang, a recently retired ob/gyn in Lincolnton, has agreed to donate to us the entire contents of his building (exam beds, office furniture, office equipment valued over $48,000) if we purchase it for $300,000—that’s $70,000 below tax value.  That is a very generous offer, but CPC doesn’t have that kind of money and we are committed to operating debt-free.  So Dr. Chang has agreed to give us until December 8th (90 days from the date of our meeting) to come up with those funds.

Is a child worth a one-time gift of $300?

We are planning to hang a 1,000 piece puzzle in the reception area of our new facility in honor of our donors.  Each piece will represent a donation of $300.  How many pieces can we count on you for?  Is the life of a child worth a one-time gift of $300?  Donations may be mailed to Crisis Pregnancy Center of Lincoln County, PO Box 1414, Lincolnton, NC  28093 or delivered in person at

621 Clarks Creek Rd, Lincolnton, NC  28092 during regular business hours.  Thank you in advance for helping us reach this goal and save innocent lives.

CPC of Lincoln county is a 501(c)3 organization.  All donations are tax deductible.  Any questions regarding this request may be directed to the Executive Director, Paula McSwain,

at 704-732-3384 (office), 336-469-3919 (cell), or pmcswain@cpclincolnco.com.
