A Not So Silent Celebration for SILENTK Launch

NEW YORK - Sept. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- At the crush of New York Fashion Week 2015 urban myth became urban legend. This NYFW15 affair saw the launch of Urban/Street designer SilentK and his far reaching redistribution of hood culture. Bringing back the root core of hip hop and hood, SilentK brought back the movement's ethnical constitution.

Like no other, SilentK reinvigorated the urban community to rallying support. As success grows for the fashion line and life style brand, discussions are taking place on strategies to give back to that very community. In hopes of continuing Harry Belafonte’s legacy, SilentK plans on bringing light to social concerns and focus to the disparaging incarceration of black youth.

SilentK is a socially conscious brand that acknowledges the support of its consumer base and is active in bringing the fashion needs of the hood to the forefront of real time production. SilentK will not only feed trends, but will be an active participant in providing leadership in the creation of future trends.

2016 will not only see the official launch of SilentK but the inclusion of SilentK designs for wardrobe in media group, Twisted Media NYC 's upcoming film and television productions.

SilentK received accolades from iconic fashion supporter James Goldstein and Broadway's rising star Christina Bianco. Music industries insider Brandon A. Dixon, aka Buck50_CEO, Gus King of NuMusicEnt, Singer Belinda Munro of Faces 4 Entertainment and Singer Song Writer Troy Bowie were all in attendance, lending their strength and support.
